Fig & Walnuts Panforte

This is a special version of Panforte, one of the most traditional Italian desserts, originating in Tuscany. The main ingredients of this italian spicy tart are still those of the original 13th century Panforte recipe: honey, spices, dried and candied fruits, but this version of the delicious spicy Christmas cake also contains figs and hazelnuts. Following the tradition, our Fig and Hazelnut Panforte Cake comes in wedges cut by hand, just like in the best pastry shops of Tuscany.
