Lou Bren


Lou Bren is made from pasteurized sheep’s milk, this French cheese is nothing like you would expect. Coming from Aveyron, a small region northeast of the Midi-Pyrenees. Washed with annatto seed and brine, this unique cheese has a bright terra-cotta colored rind and a light and creamy ivory-colored interior. Not for the faint of heart (or palette) this lightly aged sheep’s milk cheese boasts flavors of mushroom, beef and roasted peanuts. Deliciously creamy and complex, you won’t find another cheese like this anywhere! Organoleptic properties Aspect and consistency: a golden brown washed rind hides a melting texture inside.
