Nerina

Produced in the luscious valleys of Piedmont, the Nerina cheese follows in two cheese traditions. Nerina is an ash-ripened goat cheese as well as a Robiola, the classic Piemontese cheese. Being a young cheese, it is characterized by bright and tangy flavors, with notes of citrus. Organoleptic properties Aspect and texture: ashy gray rind with a brainy texture and a bright white paste Taste: lemony and with a slight gamey-ness Serving suggestions Dry white wine, fresh bread, fig paste Ingredients Pasteurized goat’s milk, salt, vegetable ash, traditional rennet, cultures
